Dear President Trump

Dear President Trump,

It pains me that a feud has erupted between you and Elon Musk over the past few days. This feud is pointless, unnecessary, and gives hope to the Democratic Party elite who’ve done incalculable harm to our country and intend much more damage if given another chance.

You’ve done remarkable things, with amazing alacrity, since reclaiming the White House. Appointing Mr. Musk to lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) was a wonderful idea, and I implore you to keep this agency in place and allow its work to continue. Millions of us are heartened that you’re fighting transgender ideology and illegal immigration, both of which are non-partisan issues. You were the only person of any party who would’ve taken on these challenges and other important work with the necessary vigor.

The Democrat elite have abandoned women, children, and working people. They’ve surrendered our sovereignty to illegal immigrants. They’ve become a cult whose tenets are abhorrent to decent people. This is why people across the political and demographic spectrum voted for you despite your flaws and you often being your own worst enemy.

If I were your advisor, I’d suggest more humility and impulse control, but not entirely at the expense of the rhetoric that channels your populism. I’d suggest better communication as to why things are being done and must be done. For example, it would help to remind the American people that bad international trade deals were put in place by the elite of both major political parties at the behest of their Wall Street masters, and these devastated blue-collar workers and our nation’s industrial base.

Mr. Musk is a valuable ally and was instrumental in your election victory. The DOGE is doing a long overdue in-depth audit, something the elites of neither major party wanted. You both have strong opinions and aren’t afraid to express them publicly. It would be wildly unrealistic to expect your opinions on every issue to be in agreement.

I pray you and Mr. Musk quickly make peace. Set aside your differences and think first of our country and the dangers we face. The Democrat elite are doubling-down on the madness of transgender ideology, open borders, and other asshattery. If they regain power, the further damage they will wreak is incalculable.
