In Iran, homosexuality is punishable by death. Are the Woke outraged at this penalty, which violates the tenet of love who you love? Oh, quite the contrary. Iran provides a “solution” to avoid a death sentence which dovetails nicely with the Woke’s trans-cult ideology.
The Iranian regime offers gays an abhorrent way to avoid the death penalty: The gay person can choose castration (e.g., a vaginoplasty to create a fauxgina), which in the twisted minds of the mullahs makes the offender a woman; therefore, this person having sex with another man is no longer considered a homosexual act. In other words, the Iranian regime embraces the same deluded word games and Frankenstein-medicine used by the Western trans-cultists. A man who is now defined as a woman is a real woman, and if he has sex with a man, he is actually a straight woman engaging in a heterosexual relationship. Yes, the Woke nitwits in the West believe such farce with at least as much religious conviction as the mullahs in Iran.
People are allowed to have their own opinion regarding homosexuality (good, bad, or indifferent). It’s the manifestation of these opinions which matters. In Iran, the manifestation of the belief that homosexuality is a sin is a law (or decree of some sort) prohibiting it and an associated consequence.
Whatever your opinion about homosexuality, a sane person, reflecting soberly on the matter, is right to find the “solution” offered gay men in Iran to be horrifying. This state-mandated genital mutilation is literally the ultimate conversion therapy for homosexuality.
Not the New York Times, though. The Times lauds this barbarism as, get this, somehow evidence of Iran’s acceptance of transgender people. Offering castration in lieu of execution, in the bizarre Woke world of the NYT, is enlightened gender-affirming care. Iranian authorities are apparently not transphobic bigots like those of us who oppose the mutilation, sterilization, and chemical poisoning of children and adults. Transing away the gay is find-and-dandy to the trans-cult. In fact, they joke about it. Never forget that the trans-cult is inherently and viciously anti-gay, anti-reality, and misogynistic. Oh, and pro-censorship.
