Allow me to get the obvious out of the way: I’m not a nice person. My language is often harsh. These are harsh times and getting harsher. Niceness, soft words and hope for a diplomatic solution to the vile ideology of Wokeness is a fool’s quest surely to result in our mutual doom. Therefore, I opine accordingly.
Not surprisingly, the San Francisco Chronicle continues to mindlessly spew Trans-cult propaganda and does so with the shamelessness of George Orwell’s Ministry of Truth. As is true with most of the legacy media, the Chronicle is a Woke silo where nary a discordant notion graces its pages. Debate is replaced with pathetically rigid groupthink. Critical thinking skills and journalistic integrity, along with common sense and human decency, have long-deserted this once great newspaper.
Journalists, whatever their personal beliefs and proclivities, must retain a robust sense of skepticism and refrain from lazy incuriousness. A journalist for a so-called “conservative leaning” employer must demand a politician explain the balancing of government ledgers amidst a proposal for a tax cut or the purchase of a shiny new aircraft carrier. Likewise, a scribe in the hire of a “left leaning” employer must vigorously challenge the odious notion of codifying roadblocks to the investigation of apparent fraud, and this includes that perpetrated by Woke-indulged groups (e.g., Somalis).
Yeah, good luck with that…
Several August 2026 articles in the Chronicle sports section went full-retard in obeisance to the Trans-cult, replete with wanton lies and deliberate mischaracterization. A character in the movie Tropic of Thunder offered advice the Chronicle and other Woke should heed: “Never go full-retard.”
Across the bay from San Francisco, the East Bay Times decided to also get in on this mentally (and morally) deficient action, though this newspaper is generally a milder supporter of Woke asshattery. The Times didn’t say “Hold my beer,” but did at least take a swig of the Chronicle’s witches’ brew of dunderheadedness.
Recent controversy involving the WNBA and the overt support of the Trans-cult by league leadership, coaches, and players resulted in several of these articles. A bullying incident of a trans-identifying male youth at a rowing club was the subject of another article.
Here’s are some snippets of the journalistic manure from these articles, laid out as bullet points, along with your humble author’s comments (in square brackets):
“Trans voices needed in WNBA debate” (San Francisco Chronicle – August 31, 2026) – Sydney Bauer
[Mr. Bauer is a trans-identifying male (aka transwoman). He is disingenuous as fuck as evident by the article title alone. There is no dearth of trans voices. We are subject to a cacophony of their voices in social media, entertainment, and the legacy media. In blue states and local jurisdictions, the trans voices are the only ones given credence, and this is reflected in the legislation passed in support of this cult’s abhorrent tenets. Those who dare speak out against it are subject to harassment, censorship, personal destruction, and physical assault—it’s actually their voices who need to be heard.]
- I remember thinking “why are these views not being challenged?” when first reading Sophie Cunningham’s comments in an ESPN profile last week.
[Mr. Bauer quotes WNBA player Ms. Cunningham, a player who is a rare voice of reason amidst the WNBA’s Woke madness: “I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn’t have to go against biological men.”]
[The Woke media is regularly awash in Trans-cult talking points. These pseudo-journalists challenge reality every day and attack any dissent, as evident by the articles discussed herein this blog post. Mr. Bauer himself was afforded a front-page platform in the Chronicle’s sports section to challenge away.]
- Sophie’s quote was left to stand on its own, without any context. Leaving it unchallenged validated Cunningham’s claim that trans women are “biological men,” and that trans women were harming girls in women’s sports. There is no evidence of either.
[Uh, transwomen are indeed biological men. Not only are these males intruding on female sports, but into the female locker rooms, as well. Ample evidence exists in support of these contentions. As is typical of the Trans-cult, they first claim the problem doesn’t exist, next retreat to a position that the problem exists but doesn’t matter, and if necessary, end up with the absurdity that if we don’t allow the problem to occur, transpeople will kill themselves or suffer genocide. In sports, this is always in reference to trans-identifying males, so this ideology is pro-patriarchy with extra steps.]
- The changes trans athletes go through with hormone replacement therapy as part of medical transition are complex. But they rewire a body to match the sex a trans person identifies with.
[Nothing is rewired. Self-harm via pharmaceutical poisoning and surgical mutilation of body parts, no matter how extreme in degree, does not change an immutable fact: You cannot change your sex. Transwomen are born male and shall die male.]
- Even the few successful trans women athletes in all levels of sport have not blown away their competition, let alone set unreachable world records or taken over women’s sports.
[The advantage males have over females in sports is obvious. Only someone going full-retard argues otherwise—and there are certainly many among the Woke who do so. The no advantage argument is easy to address if it were true: Collapse all gender-based leagues into a single coed one. But regardless, women have a right to their own sports and spaces. Males, including trans-identifying ones, should respect this.]
- Denying trans women our womanhood makes it easier politically to exclude us from sports.
[Trans-identifying males are not denied womanhood any more than a White person is denied blackness. Men don’t qualify for womanhood. They aren’t being excluded from sports. They are being excluded from female sports. The male category, in which they rightfully belong, remains open to them.]

- Mr. Bauer quotes Trans-cult enabler Hannah McCarthy: “This is so often framed as this unsettled debate about protecting women and girls, but that argument is fueled by omission of fact and manipulative word choice.”
[The Woke are the masters of lies and manipulative word choice. Trans-cult ideology is based on it. For example, caring therapy to get a gender-confused person to accept his or her actual sex is mischaracterized as “conversion therapy” and outlawed in blue states. Surgical mutilation and pharmaceutical poisoning are deemed as not conversion therapy. I can’t think of anything more clearly conversion therapy than converting a healthy male into a grievously damaged eunuch.]
- There are steps you have to take to prove your womanhood. Changing your name and updating documents is just part of a long bureaucratic process that differs by state, when even allowed.
[A government complicit in issuing perjurious documents doesn’t change an immutable fact: Mr. Bauer was born a man and shall die a man. The question for society to debate is how to reasonably tolerate people like Mr. Bauer if he insists he is a female. This doesn’t mean playing along with the delusion as an active participant. Trans-cult ideology is not about respect or leaving people alone to live their lives as they see fit. It’s about forced participation in a person’s delusion, and the Woke are willing to use criminal penalties and the threat of personal destruction to accomplish this.]
“Commissioner pushes back on efforts to divide league” (San Francisco Chronicle – August 22, 2026) – no author listed
- WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert denounced people she said are trying to “sow divisiveness” as the league faces debate over transgender athletes.
[One of the armaments wielded by the Woke is fomenting divisiveness. This is why they are obsessed with identity-based grievances.]
- The league’s collective bargaining agreement states that only women are eligible to play in the WNBA but does not include more specific language regarding gender identity or sex assigned at birth.
[The term “assigned at birth” is one of the many word games played by the Trans-cult. Nobody is assigned anything. The baby’s sex is observed and duly recorded with an exceedingly high degree of accuracy. The most primitive isolated tribes on earth are equally capable of making this determination.]
- “There’s always going to be haters out there and we denounce it,” Englebert said.
[Advocating on behalf of women and children is not hate. If one wants to see hate in its purest and most vile form, one merely needs to gaze into the soul of the Woke—or show up at an WNBA game wearing a shirt challenging Trans-cult orthodoxy.]
“Sacramento club sued over trans girl’s bullying claim” (San Francisco Chronicle – August 22, 2026) – Bob Egelko
[This article uses female pronouns throughout to refer to an obvious male. The media has been largely cowed into capitulation to this demand by the Trans-cult.]
- More than half of the states prohibit trans girls from participating in school sports for all female student-athletes, and President Donald Trump advocates a nationwide ban.

- Quotes Sasha Buchert, Lambda Legal: “There is no evidence that girls like this have a competitive advantage.”

- Quotes Dorian Coleman, a law professor at Duke University: “All kids should have the opportunity somehow to play sports, full stop. All kids includes trans kids…If you have a problem with a law that allows trans girls to participate on girls’ sports teams, take it to the legislature, not out on the kid who has done nothing wrong.”
[The true issue in this situation is a kid who is being bullied, regardless of the reason for him being bullied. That is the legitimate issue to address, but placing the child in the wrong-sex competition category is not the way to do so. Getting other boys to not bully him while he participates in the boys’ category is where the focus of efforts should be. The suggestion to seek a legislative remedy is big-time gaslighting. Taking the issue to the legislature is an act vehemently opposed by the Trans-cult and their enablers.]
“Ugly agendas no match for a battle between league’s top teams” (San Francisco Chronicle – August 21, 2026) – Ann Killion
[Ms. Killion is a shameless über-transmaiden. Let’s start with the article’s title. “Ugly agenda” is the Chronicle‘s term to describe people who oppose transgender ideology and all its evils. Transgender ideology is anti-woman, anti-child, anti-homosexual, anti-free speech, anti-science, anti-ethical medicine, and anti-sanity. Those opposing this ideology are not promoting an ugly agenda and are, in fact, far better human beings than Ms. Killion.]
- Still some opportunists tried to exploit the marquee matchup for their own causes. A group calling itself “Women Are Real” sent out a media alert that they were holding a protest outside Chase Center…they eventually moved to the Thrive City side of the building where the boisterous crowd was saving women’s sports by…celebrating women’s sports. [Killion’s idea of “saving women’s sports” is to allow males to participate in these and have access to female locker rooms.]
- Killion quotes Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve: “Every kid has a right to sports.”
[Trans-identifying males have access to sports. It’s called the men’s and boys’ categories.]
- Eventually the celebrating people surrounded the saving people to let them know that this wasn’t a place for a protest but a place for joy.
[Uh, the people opposing the “saving people” were conducting a counter-protest. Ms. Killion is all for protests when these are done on behalf of shit she likes.]
- Quotes Reeve again: “I don’t want to give them more oxygen than they deserve,” when asked about the small protest before the game. She had worn a “Trans Kids Belong” T-shirt during a game earlier this month. “Politically in this country they found a talking point that people are buying into. The only thing I ask is that people educate themselves on these issues…and that something is not used as rhetoric to marginalize a community that does not deserve marginalizing.” [set of ellipses in the article]
[Educating oneself on the issues reveals a horrific ideology that does tremendous harm. Ms. Killion, Ms. Reeve, and others are the ones who need some serious education and soul searching. A so-called community is not marginalized when it is the apex predator on the victimhood pyramid and accommodated to an unreal degree in blue jurisdictions.]

Opposing them were members of Rainbow Families, an organization that supported transgender people…Both coaches—Nakase and Reese—voiced their support of transgender individuals during their respective pregame news conferences.”
[“Anti-transgender” is the term for those who want to protect female sports and spaces.]
Final thoughts
Cultists, cowards, or connivers. These are the Trans-cult’s true-believers and their enablers, all of whom are on the wrong side of science, sanity, and human decency. Don’t be fooled. These are not well-meaning people. They support an ideology which is harmful, and they fanatically intend to force you to go along.
Males in female sports is not the only issue of concern. Trans-identifying males demand access to female locker rooms, showers, restrooms, prisons, rape crisis shelters, domestic violence shelters, lactation support groups, female-only apps, miscarriage support groups, lesbian bars and dating sites, and on and fucking on. Throughout Western society these males are accommodated to a staggering degree.
This cult is not going away anytime soon. It has powerful defenders throughout our societal institutions, which includes the San Francisco Chronicle and other media. Never forget that these are people who want to castrate children, place male sex offenders in female prisons, and criminalize dissent.
