Part of the title of this post is taken from a YouTube video by Joseph Murray (link to video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkTgYiMDRHY). I find myself increasingly wishing for this very cataclysm. God would do us a favor if He put the human race out of our collective self-imposed retardation.
I’m not counting on this divine cosmic euthanasia and neither should you.
Here’s why.
The midterm elections are due shortly. The Democratic Party elites are unabashedly doing everything they can to make themselves as appallingly evil as possible, elevating Wokeness to new heights of absurdity. These evildoers are doubling-down, tripling-down on behalf of their core constituencies: illegal aliens, Trans-cultists, and criminals.
Never forget this is the political party which demands male rapists be placed in female prisons and any female inmates who object be disciplined. They insist female rape victims in criminal trials refer to their male rapist using female pronouns if the defendant declares he is a woman—and threaten the victim with sanctions if she fails to comply with this outrage. They don’t want any illegal aliens deported, and this includes those who’ve commit heinous crimes while here. California’s Governor Newsom is openly considering communing the death sentence of all the state’s several hundred inmates presently sentenced to death for their crimes. The Democrat elites really, really embrace this insanity, and to a shocking degree are unified on these and other horrific positions.
Unfortunately, the Republican Party establishment continues its bumbling communication and are doing their worst to give the Democratic Party a very real chance of recapturing control of both houses of Congress. Therefore, a large rock from space is what I pray for.
Why the pessimism?
Whatever the outcome of the election, we are either screwed (if the Republicans retain control of Congress) or royally screwed (if the Democrats regain control of either the Senate or the House of Representatives). Regardless of which major political party is in power, we get continued fiscal irresponsibility and the madness of forever wars.
But with the Democratic Party we also get the depravity of Woke ideology. This is why I advise people to vote Republican and do so with the following directive: Hold the GOP elites feet to the fire to make sure they continue the battle against Wokeness but also pressure them to behave like responsible adults. This means, among other things, balance the goddamn budget and stop these never-ending overseas military misadventures.
For all their faults, at least the Republican Party believes that Woke ideology is abhorrent, which it most certainly is. This is a view held by rational people of all stripes, including many registered Democrats. The Democrat elites want illegal immigration to continue; undermined election integrity, which includes openly allowing illegal immigrants to vote; people (especially children, even over the objections of the child’s parents) grievously harmed by the Trans-cult and its Frankenstein medical malpractice; our societal intuitions poisoned by DEI; and non-White criminals allowed to plague society and disproportionately do so against non-White law-abiding members of society. This is far more than enough justification to never “Vote Blue.”
Voters must understand the Woke are irredeemably evil and they aren’t going away despite any setbacks they’ve suffered at the hands of the Trump Administration and other non-Woke politicians. Wokeness is no more defeated than the Soviet Union was in August 1941. Do not foolishly believe claims to the contrary.
The Woke are obsessed with imposing two key authoritarian principles they realize are necessary to achieve their dream of a Woke Eden: They want you silenced and disarmed. They really, really have a hard-on for this.
Central to the Woke’s madness is their relentless attack on free speech. The Republican establishment must communicate (for goddamn once) that most issues are non-partisan, and this includes protecting free speech. I plead with the Republican elites to stop using the term “Democrats” when bashing the other party, and instead use the terms “Democratic Party establishment” or “Democrat elites.” A significant number of rank-and-file registered Democrats are appalled by Wokeness, and they should not be lumped in with their leadership who’ve long abandoned any sense of decency, common sense, and sanity. These are voters the GOP must actively court.
I suggest everyone reflect on the current state of affairs and the danger we face to what is a foundational human right: free speech. An actual existential threat, not manufactured drama (e.g., global warming) meant to fill empty lives and allow control of us by our betters and afford these gilded turds further obscene enrichment. The demarcation line is clear: You either believe in the fundamental human right to freedom of speech and expression or you don’t. You either understand and accept that rights come with responsibilities, sometimes awful ones, or you don’t. You either want to avoid a world of miserable, brutally enforced sameness or you don’t.
Free speech is in hospice. Not just severely injured but dying. Quite near death, in fact. The British constabulary arrive in force at private homes to investigate and arrest people for their social media posts. Not just for the crime of one’s own creations, but for those posts by others that a person likes or shares and which are deemed by the British Woke to be thought crimes.
Many Americans gleefully pray for the day when our own law enforcement is deployed in a similar fashion as their morally cucked brethren in the United Kingdom. The Woke want to censor the fuck out of speech they don’t like. It should terrify the fuck out of you that a significant number of college students believe it’s acceptable to use violence against speech they don’t like. It should also terrify the Woke, but they believe they won’t suffer as collateral damage due to their malevolency, but they surely shall.
Oh, yes indeed, all shall suffer terribly in this dystopia the Woke envision as their paradise. Hurty words deemed crimes and subject to monetary fines and jail sentences—tongues cut out, not physically (yet) but by other means. Reliable energy supplies destroyed. Education and science rendered farce by DEI and society toppled back into an intellectual Dark Age. Children and vulnerable adults served up as human sacrifices to the transgender-medical-industrial-complex. A society which creates eunuchs and practices female genital mutilation doesn’t deserve to survive—the Woke believe such atrocities are proof of their virtue. Voting for a Democrat candidate is your agreeing these horrors are sound public policy.
A malignant-level number of fools are ignorant of the fact that free speech does not come with an obligation for decorum or politeness. Free speech requires—absolutely requires—you to endure words you don’t like from people you perhaps loathe. This is literally the definition of free speech. Wanting to silence those you disagree with is the mindset of a thin-skinned fascist and can only result in devastating consequences. All freedoms are predicated on the right to free speech. Absent this right you shall lose all your other rights. Guaranteed.
A government is not going to silence you but allow you the right to bear arms or due process. Neither is a government going to disarm you and allow you freedom of speech. Those charlatans who reference other countries which have strict gun control laws or curbs on so-called “hate speech” as justification for implementing such measures in the United States are not well-meaning people. They smugly virtue-signal, but this is comically poor camouflage for their evil intentions. They fully intend to lord over us as tyrants and do so forcibly.
Already we are ruled by petulant adult children who are blessed with pea brains and who then appoint people to positions of authority who are likewise morally, intellectually, and temperamentally compromised to a staggering degree. The result is the poisoning of our institutions with Woke ideology, not just to our detriment but to our mutual doom.
The situation is particularly dire. The Woke are given vast weaponry to wield against free speech via modern technology and a complicit mainstream media. They’ve the pernicious mindset of the Spanish Inquisition—imbued with the same vile self-righteousness—amped up on Information Age steroids. The performance enhancing drugs in this case are miniaturization and a huge reduction in cost of cameras and microphones, algorithms crafted into remorseless hunters, huge amounts of data storge (the Internet is forever), an army of personal devices and home appliances which spy on us (does my electric toothbrush really need a fucking app!), extensive public space surveillance, social media sites which magnify our worst natures, and a significant number of people eagerly willing to embrace their role as Torquemada and mete out firehose quantities of overreaction and disproportionate injustice to what are essentially trivialities and irrelevancies.
Absent a massive EMP, this technology is not going away. The only way to save ourselves is to not just believe in free speech but to actively stand shoulder-to-shoulder with someone whose speech you abhor and defend this person’s right to it. For the only rights you deserve are those rights you allow those people you hate to possess as well.
I see no end to Woke insanity absent a revolution, which I fear shall be violent.
Each day there is evidence of the demise of free speech. The Woke themselves are not immune from the wrath of their own ilk. Perfect fealty is required, as Xavier Beccera found out. He is a Woke fool running for governor of California. While Secretary of DHS during the Biden Administration, he reportedly referred to illegal immigrant children as “Little Juanitos and Juanitas.”
Oh, the horror of such words!
This triviality—yes, trivial as fuck— is somehow a newsworthy story and worthy of Woke outrage? Oh, yes indeed. How dare he utter indecorous speech in reference to a “marginalized” group of people, though his alleged bon mot is something a rational person (i.e., non-Woke) would likely chuckle over. I sure as hell did.
I don’t give a shit if he said this about illegal alien children and neither should you. To make an actual issue out of it is lame as fuck. The conservative media, who should damn well know better, joined in and tried to make this pipsqueak-level incident a disqualifier for Mr. Beccera’s political aspirations. They pathetically believed this was a burn on Mr. Beccera.
Mr. Beccera is a disgusting person because of his odious politics, not because of his quips. Trying to use these benign words against him is chickenshit, and if I was his opponent, I’d say so publicly. Reporters revel in this nonsense while willfully ignoring important stuff. Journalism is the refuge of lazy, incurious, and incompetent hacks. Those who criticized Mr. Beccera for the quip, whether Woke or not, are the real problem, not his speech. His policy positions are what matters, and he should not be elected based on those.
A recently hired White lady was fired from her job because of…wait for it…a puritanical busybody found out the woman wore her hair in cornrows while at the annual Burning Man Festival. This Brown Shirt do-gooder dutifully notified the woman’s employer. Boom. Bang. Here’s your pink slip. How dare she wear her hair in corn rows. So-called cultural appropriation is one of many deadly sins in the Woke canon. A crime necessitating personal destruction.
Whoever complained about her hairstyle is a fascist tattletale. Whoever made the decision to fire her based on this petty-assed complaint is either a Woke cultist or a coward capitulating to the cultists. Either way, everyone involved in getting her fired is a loser and a horrible human being—I can say this with certainty based solely on this evidence.
In Colombia, Samual Adrian was sent to prison because he refused to accept that sex can be changed. Sex can’t be changed. But truth is severely punished in any country where the Woke rule. Believe me when I tell you the Woke in the United States want this same punishment for our own heretics whose speech is anathema to transgender ideology. “Transwomen are real women!” the Trans-cultists scream. And you better agree if you know what’s good for you. If you vote for a Democrat candidate, this is the tyranny you are voting for.
The Portland Trailblazers hired a new play-by-play person. He is 29 years old and was fired mere hours after the team announced the hiring. Why so fast? Wow, he must’ve committed a serious crime immediately upon getting the new job. Did he indecently expose himself to the receptionist on the way out of the building? Did the team learn the new hire is on the FBI’s Most Wanted List? Good Lord, did it come to light he’s a serial killer?
Nope.
Keyboards are attacked with glee upon news of anyone publicly named to anything. Name entered. Hit return. The algorithm goes to work at the speed of light. Sin revealed. Sin punished—no matter how far back in the past the transgression occurred, no matter how trivial the offense, no matter whether sin at all. Light speed does not allow for due process, sober consideration, or rational outcomes.
A local Portland reporter (Torquemada) on hearing the news went to work and quickly uncovered some colorful tweets the newly hired announcer had made years ago as a teenager. The reporter then contacted the team about the tweets—fully intending personal destruction against the new hiree. Cowardly panic obviously took hold at the Trailblazers headquarters, and the announcer was quickly axed.
The Woke will forgive a rapist or murderer if he’s non-White or an illegal alien, but a mean tweet by a White teenager brought to light years after the fact is a crime to haunt you to the end of your days—unless you’re a member of a so-called marginalized group. If only the erstwhile announcer declared he was transgender. His career would’ve been saved.
A woman in Brazil faced 25 years in jail for properly “gendering” a male who fancies himself to be a woman. She refused to use female pronouns in reference to this male. Fortunately, she was granted asylum in another country and avoided this nightmare outcome. If the fact someone can be jailed for decades due to using accurate grammar doesn’t outrage you, you’re devoid of common sense and morality. You’re a fool deserving the Woke dystopia which is your fate.
These examples are not outliers. Incidents such as these happen regularly. This insanity is only possible because of technology, nitwits with far too much time on their hands, and an exceeded threshold in the number of cowards in positions of authority who allow it. These incidents are the Charlie Hebdo massacre without the mass murder (yet).
I used to criticize Islam for its imposed misery and its incompatibility with Western values, but the West itself is now a threat to Western values.
The media is complicit in the establishment of a Woke caliphate, as are artists, booksellers, academics, and others who we should expect to be the last bastions of freed speech. Instead, authors like Stephen King are now the vanguard of the Woke hordes who would oppress our speech.
I leave you with a scenario and an accompanying question…
We are in an age where technology makes staggering levels of surveillance possible, both in public spaces and in places where privacy is expected, albeit foolishly surrendered by many fools.
What if a person sitting at his home computer keyboard types the word nigger? What if he types it but thinks better of it and immediately deletes the word? What if he says it out loud in his home or whispers it loud enough so that a device in his home picks it up? What if he says the word among friends or by himself while in his car?
The question to ponder is one with terrifying implications: Should the authorities be immediately notified of this crime and the person face punishment, which could include public shaming, debanking, suspension or expulsion from school, removal from social media sites, firing from a job, jail time or fines?
Many of your fellows answer yes. Emphatically. Even if the criminal typed nigger on a keyboard and backspaced to erase it. They’d love the notification of the Woke Gestapo and the resultant consequences.
I guarantee there are far too many of your fellows who answer yes, their faces twisted into a malevolent visage of self-righteousness. And they’d gleefully revel in any punishment meted out to the miscreant.
